Jovan Vrtov
Jovan has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree, passed the judicial exam, and has been a member of the Macedonian Bar Association since 2007. He has more than 15 years of experience in legal matters in North Macedonia.
Prior to becoming a part of Papazoski and Mishev Law Firm, he worked as a Legal Consultant in some of the largest telecommunication companies in North Macedonia.
His main areas of specialization are Contractual Law, providing comprehensive legal advice in the areas of drafting, evaluating, and negotiating all types of agreements used in business and developing contractual solutions for specific business concepts; State Aid Regulation, including preparation of legal analyses on applying for state aid, structuring of ventures and transactions to ensure that they comply with state aid regulations and overall legal support in the procedure for application, submission of notification and monitoring of the granted state aid; and Labor Regulation, including drafting of all types of employment contracts and other employment-related documents (internal rules, employee handbooks, remuneration and benefits policies, working time structuring, restructuring and termination, liquidation, mass dismissals, etc.).
During his professional experience, Jovan has also gained significant experience by working on numerous legal projects for local and international clients, including Compliance Legal Advisory, Legal Advisory Services in the entire pre-to-post restructuring period, HR due diligence, M&A transactions and negotiations, Establishment and Liquidation of companies.
